Longtime volunteer and friend of the House Jan Pekarsky bakes for our families once a week in our kitchen. The former board member brings her love of baking and home made recipes to our families after a long day at the hospital.

” I love making the families happy, and it is important to me that they have fresh homemade cakes and muffins etc. so that they have a taste of being home. I will not use boxed mixes for that reason, and I really put my heart and soul in finding new recipes each week, so it is special. And working in the kitchen with Chef Joni is an added bonus. She makes everything I do even more creative and loving,” says Jan.
